Downtown Crossing’s newest public art/bike rack was installed last week. It’s a perfect example of how we can use art to enliven a public space and serve a functional purpose (see also: art you can sit on). The Boston Bike Rack will provide parking for Downtown Crossing shoppers and visitors and also help the City visually reinforce its commitment to cycling.
